The role Key Account Manager

Our UK organisation RingGo are the largest provider of parking and mobility solutions.

Reporting to the Sales Director this is a proactive role within the growing sales and marketing team. The core purpose is to increase the potential for our business to create and realise value from our Key Accounts, these are our largest and most prestigious partners. You will be building long term strategic alliances with each individual client within the client base by evangelising the portfolio of our products and matching their requirements to our product offerings and services.

You must be able to work with our existing clients (both public and private sectors) to discuss, frame and develop opportunities and to liaise with our internal delivery functions. We are looking for experienced high achievers with the enthusiasm determination and credibility to create opportunities.

By nature, you are inquisitive, analytical and a great communicator.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop key account strategy plans conjunction with the Sales Director
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships through regular close contact account management which will include regular face to face meetings, telephone and email communications.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of your clients and align our solutions
  • Manage and grow revenues within your accounts planning client account visits and preparing account review packs for these meetings
  • Develop and close new business (up-sell and cross-sell) opportunities from your accounts and produce any necessary proposal or supporting documentation;
  • Working closely with multiple teams across our business to ensure your clients are proactively supported
  • We are an innovative business as such we want your input for future developments and product enhancements that will add more value to your accounts
  • Proactively taking the lead to ensure that contracts are successfully renewed
  • Attend industry events and exhibitions
  • Maintain our Salesforce with all account opportunities, client meetings and key activities at all times

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 -10 years’ experience in business development
  • History of over-performance in previous sales roles within a SaaS bias
  • High performance business leadership with an exceptional aptitude for successfully driving ambitious business development activities
  • An analytical and strategic mindset and a creative spirit
  • A can-do and agile attitude necessary to thrive in a sales and marketing environment
  • A passion for and knowledge of the mobility industry, ideally within local authorities.
  • Familiar with Salesforce and MS Office
  • Valid UK driver’s licence.
