About the role 

Your focus will be to provide strategic, tailored commercial support across all our product verticals which drive either the acquisition and or retention efforts of our clients by overseeing the bid process, constructing our offer and developing the strategic messaging and positioning of our value proposition. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

You will lead the written components of the bid and will be key in the finalisation of the client-facing materials in conjunction with the Bid Manager. You will develop and manage the tendering process for all Public Sector and Private Sector contracts and other product verticals that we enter. This includes writing and maintaining documentation collateral in preparation of responses to formal pre-qualification questionnaires, Requests for Information, invitations to tender as well as presentations. 

You will also coordinate and work cross-functionally within the business to prepare high quality bids to win new business and retain existing accounts. 

 

Requirements

  • Degree level education with a minimum of 3 years’work experience in business; 
  • Experience of writing tenders and proposals for local authorities;
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills with good attention to detail; 
  • The ability to drive results, manage multiple, multifaceted projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines;
  • The ability to work autonomously, while also being able to collaborate and influence individuals across the company, including those in senior positions;
  • Good working knowledge of all MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and design packages such as those included within the Adobe Creative Software suite);
  • Excellent writing and verbal English communication skills;
  • Valid UK Driver’s license.
