About the role 

The Business IT Portfolio Manager is a key role in the Business IT team of PARK NOW. The IT Portfolio Manager acts as the ‘spider in the web’ when it comes to managing the application and project portfolio.   

The Business IT Portfolio Manager works closely together with the Business IT Application Manager, especially when it comes to onboarding or offboarding business applications.  

The business IT Portfolio Manager is responsible to coordinate all Business IT projects (in terms of timelines, risk mitigation, deliverables and budget)He/she is the face of the Business IT department towards all PARK NOW Group colleagues that are involved in Business IT projects, and responsible for communications around service changes. 

 

Your Responsibilities 

 

  • Align on all service enhancements with the Enterprise Architect 
  • Align on all licenses and new applications with the Business IT Application Manager 
  • Control the on-going projects, in terms of timelines, deliverables and budget and report on the projects’ evolution 
  • Inform the business of upcoming changes and post-implementation remarks 
  • Validate the Business Cases of Business IT projects to facilitate the initiation approval 

 

Requirements 

  • Ability to communicate clearly via written and spoken English.   
  • Project delivery skills, able to take requirements and return a working system that meets these. Including time and task management.   
  • Personal skills, working closely with others, to gather information, communication ideas / proposals and to organize team members in delivering work.   
  • Good time management skills to priorities tasks and ensure deadlines are meet.   
  • Familiarized with ITIL foundation concepts and processes  
  • Familiarized with Kanban 
  • IT background  

 

Nice to Have 

  • Evidence of previous experience of creating / updating and improving documentation  
  • Evidence of successfully managing the complete lifecycle of medium and business critical projects.
