About the role

You, as Head of UX Design, provide leadership to the centralized UX & Design team within the PARK NOW organization and are the primary driver of UX Strategy, UX Maturity and Design within the organization.

You have empathy for our users, understand market trends, know our competitors & companions and can identify new opportunities.

At PARK NOW, your roles and responsibilities are divided in multiple parts:


Vision & Strategy

Leadership and representing the organization.

  • You own the UX vision of the organization and are responsible for aligning it with company goals.
  • You translate the UX vision to a strategy and prioritised roadmap for all products within the PARK NOW company.
  • You establish processes and practices for realising the UX vision and assure a predictable level of quality.
  • You are an advocate for informed decision making using quantitative and qualitative research.
  • You contribute to and drive the adoption of experience principles across all channels of our service.

 

People Management

Enabling growth and cultivating a positive culture.

  • You are responsible for the day-to-day management, recruitment and hiring of top talent.
  • You empower your team by enabling personal and professional growth.


Operations

Leading a small but highly impactful team.

  • You optimise the design organization’s effectiveness by establishing a way-of-working that is shared, understood and used throughout the team.
  • You set goals for your team that align with the company’s direction and KPI’s.
  • You’re driven to continuously improve our services by establishing feedback loops that help inform future iterations of our product and services.
  • You’re responsible for effective communication within the team, including Europe and UK, and across departments such as Product, Engineering, Business, etc.

 

 Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in leading edge mobile consumer applications.
  • Experience with consumer and business scenarios
  • Strong end-to-end Product Design experience across UX, UI and User Research
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methods
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and focus on the most important things
  • Experience with being a champion of customer centric design and drive this throughout the organization with energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience with attracting and hiring, managing high performing team by mentoring and coaching outstanding designers
