About the role/team

We have a vacancy for an Accounting assistant to join our UK finance team with a strong focus on revenue reporting and credit control.  This is a proactive role sitting within the UK Finance team and reporting directly to the Financial Controller. 

You will be offered great support and hands on training to ensure your success within a rapidly changing and innovating environment.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the monthly billing cycles ensuring timely and complete revenue recognition;
  • Posting accruals relating to commission and rebates;
  • Credit control – ensuring customer payment terms are met;
  • Ensuring that funds are correctly calculated and ready to be released to customers;
  • Cost processing – ensuring that credit cards are accurately processed and adequately supported as business expenses with valid receipts;
  • Assistance in the processing of supplier invoicing and payment;
  • Liaising with and assisting customers with billing and other ad-hoc queries;
  • Supporting the banking assistant with the administration of treasury related matters;
  • Preparation of commentary on performance and analysis on revenue;
  • Ad-hoc financial projects throughout the year

 

Requirements:

  • Part AAT or AAT qualified;
  • Previous experience of working within an Accounts Receivable role;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills – both verbally and written. Being comfortable working with team members from various departments and international teams.
  • Ability to understand internal governance environment and is comfortable working to corporate policies and procedures
  • A team player that is outgoing and fun to work with
  • Intermediate Excel skills
