Wanted: Technical Key Account Manager taking over the responsibility of the seamless provisioning of our service to car manufacturers

About the role

As a Technical Key Account Manager at PARK NOW you will be owning the customer relationship from the delivery side and take over the end-2-end responsibility for successful integrations with our automotive OEM customers and maintain the relationship over the full lifecycle.

Your involvement starts during the pre-sales or RFP process, where you will align requirements and specifications together with your colleagues from Product and Sales and the respective departments of the customer. Starting with the implementation phase you will be responsible for our delivery according to specification, act as a troubleshooter and manage the customer. You will also remain in the driver seat during operations and make sure our KPIs are met and service improvements or feature extensions are evaluated.

The successful candidate will have the technical understanding to manage our API based service integrations with car manufacturers. You will be supported by our Product Team and work in conjunction with our technical and business teams that are spread across multiple countries. Together you will be forming a new speedboat within PARK NOW.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will take over the end-2-end delivery responsibility for one or multiple accounts and create strong relationships with our key customers (automotive car manufacturers)
  • Align service specifications with Product, Engineering and the customer to guarantee high end-user value, efficient implementation and stable operation.
  • Plan and lead detailed implementation projects and serve as the primary point of contact for our OEM customers during the implementation phase and after go-live
  • Coordinate with business and tech leaders within the PARK NOW organization to push projects toward the target achievements and communicate to all stakeholders, keeping them fully informed of the project status
  • You have the vision, drive and project management experience to build up a professional service delivery program for our new organization
  • You uncover the needs of our key partners and develop strong relationships with our technology departments. You create feedback mechanisms that translate partner needs into product requirements and drive the execution of new features together with senior management.
  • Provide technical mentorship on the high-level integration setup and challenge all parties on the way to find a proper solution design.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and steer our technical experts in the speedy resolution of customer issues. Ensure clear and open lines of communication, create transparency and ensure timely resolution of the issues.

 

Requirements

You are a structured, analytical achiever that keeps the (automotive) customer at the heart of every decision and feels comfortable in leading integration and migration initiatives with multiple partners. You have:

  • Degree in business management, engineering or related studies
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading and executing upon structured programs and projects in a similar client-facing role (e.g. delivery management, key account management, project management)
  • Experience in digital business models or the automotive industry is an advantage
  • Excellent project management skills, problem-solving and negotiation aptitude
  • Team-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills combined with an independent and structured working style
  • Superb stakeholder and alliance management skills, including the ability to manage multiple third-parties in parallel and communicate to decision-makers
  • Excellent skills in MS Office – Experience with startup communication and ticketing tools (JIRA; Slack, Confluence) is a plus
  • A pragmatic, positive and energetic personality
  • Willingness to travel within Europe
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
